Hi Zero,
PBAP menas Phone Book Access Profile, you can only get contacts in your phone ,but cannot new/edit/delet contacts or get/send messages if you choose connect via PBAP.

I have the following version that came bundled with a bluetooth USB Dongle BTD-mini from gembird (www.gembird.de). I tried to update to version 8 but it is not possible - the software wants a license key that I have to pay for - is there any possibility to upgrade for free to actual version?

Upgrading to Ver 7 will NOT function after wake up from sleep (so Ver 5 is better than Ver 7) ??? WHY ???
If you sell a functional software no one will need an update from you
If you sell non functional software then you should give updates for free
This is what all reputable sofware compnies do, or not?
Can you solve the problem of ver 7 without asking me to purchase ver 8
Make Ver 7 fanctional and I will not ask for Ver 8 at all......

All right I upgraded from Ver.6 to Ver. 8 and the Blurthooth will not start I am running Windows 7 and in your FAQ this problem was supposed to be taken care of. While using Ver 6 I was able to coonect with my Motorola V 750 cell phone I have since upgraded to a Droid2 now it will not tranfer files so I upgraded to 8.0.338.0 thinkng that might help now the bluethooth will not even start. Need help.

No I use a Wifi/bluetooth combination built into my computer. And before you say that is the problem it was working just fine with the older version and my Motorola V750 cell phone I is just that the version 6 would not recognize my Droid2 and that is why I upgraded to the Version 8 but it will not start at all.

Have you plug-in the dongle well?
I have a Core i7 running Windows 7. The installation gives off error 1935 and rolls back installation.

Hello, we purchased the SX-905 headsets and installed the driver on the computer. We have just registered and are trying to update from verion 6 to version 8 which is supposed to be free. However we keep getting disconnected after a 2mb limit, from the BlueSoleil and it is asking us for a serial number and $25.00? Why is it asking us to pay?

i'm afraid you are having the old version, to better suit your dongle you could try our latest version.
I purchased this from Meritline (http://www.meritline.com/showproduct.aspx?ProductID=26876&SEName=mini-type-wireless-bluetooth-usb-adapter-class-1-bluetooth-v-2) and after installing the software that was listed on the page, it will not allow me to upgrade without paying the $25, even though it states on your site that upgrade is free. It also doesn't tell me anything about the hardware, serial, model, anything. Please help!

I did purchase version 6, and when I try to install it and upgrade it, it doesn't show me a serial number or anything. It doesn't even give me a place to find it. I can't install the 6.0 version because it gets halfway through and throws an error. And when I try to search my account for the serial number, it never shows anything.

if you have purchased for our ver.6 you could upgrade to ver.8 only for free, and if you are using ver.5, you could upgrade to ver.7 for free. as long as the version you are owning now is a legal copy one.
