I have the same problem as DIDO when installing the free upgrade.
I installed Version 6 via the (mini) cd I received when I bought the attachment ble tooth and there was no serial number.
Please send a serial number and I will give version 8 another try, otherwise I have to agree with DIDO and Richard

I have received no serial number or any answer at all. I have reinstalled version 6 and am not bothering any further.

Hi, hope your issue have been resolved and you received the serial no. Unfortunately, I am also stuck in this freeky scam of upgrading from version 6 to v8. I had purchased it 2 yrs back and it had come with a mini cd for the bluesoleil software. I never needed to activate the product than, but now after upgrading it is asking me to activate it. Now I do not have the serial number and am not able to either activate it or go back to v6.
Please help if you could w/r to serial no. I have no idea of whom to approach for the same... Thanks, Archie.

This is a message to reclaim a support for upgrading from version 6 to version 8 bluesoleil software. I have described in old messages what is my problem without response. Now i explan the problem : I have installed bluesoleil version 6 with mini cd without serial number activation (it work good but not good with blackberry storm).At windows start appears on the taskbar that the software can be upgraded to version 8 (free).Ok i have upgraded the software to version 8 but at start program a windows appear to request a serial number for activation ......... i haven't a serial ........ were a can find the serial? Please help me.

if your dongle is a legal copy authorized by bluesoleil, you could download and install ver.8 to your computer, then plug in the dongle. then you could use the software.

I bought a usb bluetooth dongle and it came with the mini CD with version 6
I have the exact same problem, what can I do to use Version 8 otherwise i will reinstall 6(which sucks)?

i'm sorry, forget to say one thing.
we have two modes for activating BlueSoleil, the first one is with serial number--> most people is using this mode. the 2nd mode is binding with Bluetooth dongle address-->you said you don't have the serial number but with the full function, i think you are using the 2nd mode--->so if your Bluetooth dongle address can't match with our database info. there only one reason can explain the whole thing---> the software is piracy.

where were you get the mini CD? when you brought your bluetooth dongle? could you please also share us the bluetooth device address? --->i just want to check we authorized for this device or not; if yes, you can activate BlueSoleil 8 with your bluetooth dongle, don't need the serial number; but if not, maybe the software you brought before is a piracy version.

After upgrading from version 6 (included in Centrafuse) to version 8 i cant make for example a DUN connection, when trying i am geting "Installing Bluetooth Serial Port" and after a while i get message saying that the installation failed.
I have tryed to go back to version 6 without any succes!
What could i do?

Bluesoleil 8 delete version 6 at update and install after the software files. For activation where i can find the seial number?(at install ver.6 i have'nt insered the serial number).

BlueSoleil 6 user can free upgrade and enjoy BlueSoleil 8. if it need to activate again, please use the serial number of BlueSoleil 6 to activate BlueSoleil 8.

Oh shit! They give themselves 5 star by default. It is another SCAM.
WARNING! The BlueSoleil 8 is just trash. It is just a scam. NEVER BUY THIS SOFTWARE.
Reason:
1. It is very difficult to start the Blue tooth by clicking the yellow ball in the window. Often can not start Blue tooth on Windows 7. Actually, I can not start Blue tooth any longer except I restart my computer.
2. Even if I can start the Blue tooth occasionally by clicking the central yellow ball, It is very difficult to connect to my headset with the headset service (to make a call), although it is a little easier to connect to my headset with the AV service (to listen to music).
3. The sound quality of the headset service (to make a call) is really bad. It is has serious noise. The sound quality of AV service is a little better.
Sumary in 2 words: TRASH, SCAM
Conclusion: Never buy this software except you have too much money.
