Summary:flame;spark

Every idea begins with a tiny spark that, when nurtured, will grow into a flame. Many ideators will sit down with a piece of paper and a pen or pencil and begin sketching their thoughts and plans. These ideas eventually become a rendering they can use to create a masterpiece, whether a strategy, product or concept. It’s the same with writers sitting down to write the great American novel. Once you have it down on paper, how do you take the original concept and improve it? How do you preserve your main idea and show if off in its best light?

Bamboo Spark began as a simple idea that grew into a flame from Wacom. “All of our products support the idea of making the world a more creative place. We asked ourselves, how do we capture those ideas and turn them into a concept that propels real change,” explains Henry Wong, senior global product manager for Wacom’s consumer brand. “Many project blueprints start with a pen and paper. We then must shape, share, and collaborate to realize these concepts in their best form.”

Wacom2Bamboo Spark is a great way to start in the analog world with pen and paper, and with the push of a button, move your idea into the digital realm seamlessly. First, you open the smart folio to write or sketch on the paper and, utilizing Bluetooth technology, transfer the image to a mobile device to save it for later refinement or sharing. Your notes/pictures are automatically synced with the Spark app, and the Wacom cloud. From the cloud, you can convert your handwriting to text, to review, improve or revise across all your devices. When asked why they chose Bluetooth to power Bamboo Spark’s magic, Wong said, “Bluetooth is ubiquitous and simple to use, just like Bamboo Spark, and with provides the ultra-low power connectivity needed for the seamless transfer from analog to digital, supporting the Bamboo Spark’s strong ecosystem.”
