I'm having the same problem below after updating my previous bought driver version to the newest version 8.0.370.0 in Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. This newest version messed up my A2DP connection with my Bleutooth stereo headset with choppy sound, so I reverted back to the original 8.0.356 version. Now the headset gets disconnected after 5 minutes and other BT devices as well. I guess this has to do with the (re)activation? Tried to reactivate it manually but the settings as described on this page http://www.bluesoleil.com/support/knowledgebase-16.html do not exist anymore. Instead, you need to click the down-arrow in the righthand corner of this window to get a dropdown menu, but Activate and Buy are greyed-out, see attached screen shot. Sometimes the error window below is displayed. Rightclicking the Bleutooth tray icon and Turn on Bluetooth re-establishes the connection for another five minutes. Also, I'm unable to Clear Activate Record in Home --> MyBlueSoleil --> Clear Activate Record in my account on this website. Upon submitting the original s/n it says "No such record, please check your Order ID/Transaction ID and Serial Number." How can I reactivate the software? Thanks.

Today I just tried it again. But unfortunately I still can’t activate BlueSoleil 8 with the Serial Number. Have you solve the problem yet ?

Also I bought a copy of Bluesoleil 8.0.370.0. This morning I finally got my serialnumber. I tried to activate my copy, but got also a message "cannot activate BlueSoleil" After disabling my firewall I still could not activate. I downloaded the Manual Activation Tool, which gave me a link for activation. Using that link in my browser gave me an unknow error, please try again. What I just now discovered is that on top of the activation page was a line "Activate Bluesoleil 6 Manually" Instead of 8. Can someone look into this. Did I get the wrong serialnumer?
I really need this to work, because the version I got with my dongle is not well supported by Windows 7

I have bought IVT_BlueSoleil_8.0.370.0 with Order ID: BS2011101400036 and got the Serial Number you sent to me.But I still can’t activate BlueSoleil 8 with Serial Number. It says “cannot activate BlueSoleil. Please make sure your computer is connected to the internet and BlueSoleil is allowed to access the Internet”. then Itried manually activate BlueSoleil 8 with Serial Number. I downloaded the ActivationTool, inputed the Serial Number and click "Get activation information", a web link appeared in the "Activation information" window. Then I copied the link to the Windows IE and accessed it, but it says “System Message: Unknown error. Please try it again.”
So could you please help me and send the Activation code to me ? Or you can withdraw the serial number and give my money back!

So everyone who bought a bluetooth adapter should send it back then if the sotware is not up to date, doesn't work or needs updating for a FEE. I fully expect that the NEW item that I bought works perfectly well without the need to purchase new software and without a constant message on my computer instructing me to download an update. Trading standards should be very interested!!!!!

Download and read the MANUAL. For those who do not understand bluetooth hardware and software...If you buy a device that is bluetooth compatible, you will still need a bluetooth dongle (like a usb stick) that goes into your computer. this software is to replace the generic software that is included with windows as device support. (you can also buy the dongle from these guys).
So the thing is, you need a bluetooth device, (ie, headset, media player, microphone, etc.) also, you will need a bluetooth dongle (ie, looks like a usb flash drive/thumb drive) and you will then fully be able to appreciate the software that this site is focused on, if you decide to PAY for it like the rest of us.

The hard work and development that has gone into this software and the hardware products certainly deserves the credit and payback that most work expects, no?

I have bought "PCBlueNano".
After installing this BlueTooth product. I have received a message saying that I can download FREE
the latest version of BlueTooth.
However when I download it. A dialog box opens that tells me I have to buy it.
Make up your mind! Is the latest version free for new customers or not?
Improve the standard or your web page so that you do not waste your customer's time.

Dear Yosuncle, Mic20111107 is in the same position I am in that he PURCHASED a product that came with FREE software. (Would you expect to purchase the software separately???) As is usually the case, following manufacture and dispatch, that software then becomes out of date pretty quickly so by the time you have purchased the product it needs updating. Naturally an update is then offered free on line.
I suggest you ask a few more pertenent questions before you make such smart-arse comments.

So why not explain that only the download is free and if you want it you have to buy it.
If you had made that obvious I would not have wasted my time downloading the file and installing it. Now everytime I start up my PC I get a dialog box telling me to download the latest version for free!!!!!

If you are looking for something for free, what gives you the 'customer' status? In America here, in order to be a customer, you need to BUY something...and after looking at this site without much scrutiny, I can plainly see that this software now just like before is NOT free, but you can DOWNLOAD it for free...like most GOOD SHAREWHARE / TRIALWARE.

I double click on the Icon to run the Setup, but nothing happens. Its shows me the directory of where its installing and when I click on okay, nothing happens. The installation panel disappears and I wait a few minutes, but BlueSoleil is not installed on my computer at all. This is the newest version 8.0.370.0, which has three folders in them X86, Packet, and AMD64, I run the setup.exe just outside of all the folders, but just like I mentioned above nothing happens.
I have restarted my computer and logged off several times, but nothing has happened as well.
I am able to run the installation inside x86, but get a error message when its installing bluetooth network adapter "Error 5 Occured during installation. Please try running Setup Again."
I am using Windows XP on a 32-Bit System

@support: Please fix the online form for end-users to ask support. I bought your product and it's your responsability to support users.
Soon as i click the "send button" it fails and takes me to the homepage.
