My BlueSoleil 8.0.370.0 keeps trying to "Activate BlueSoleil over the internet" and comes back with "BlueSoleil is activated successfully".
The Help/Activate BlueSoleil option in the "Classic View" is grayed out as if the activation has already occurred. But SlueSoleil continues to try to activate every 5 minutes. After "successful" activation, it turns off the Windows service called "BlueSoleilCS". This causes my Bluetooth headset to lose its connection.
Why is BlueSoleil continuing to try to activate every 5 minutes after it says activation is successful. Shouldn't this be a one-time event?

Same here. And in my case this is on a car-installation which doesn't have internet access unless I'm near wifi or if I tether my phone. So the prompt comes up all the time and it is very annoying. Not to mention bluetooth only connects some of the time!

The tech person(s) MUST be aware of this issue by now. Has anything been posted somewhere about what they're doing about this? In some blog I'm not aware of or something? And in the meantime, can anyone recommend another bluetooth software program to use, since this one is broken?
Come on, tech person(s)! Help us out here, I'm rapidly losing loyalty in Bluesoleil, here.

i have the same issue with version 7, its super annoying, I already bought a wired Headset because of this. (Also this didn't happen before)

Dear, If you bought Bluesoleil6 software from our website at the outset, now you can activate version8 with the same serial number of version6; If you bought a dongle from our website, you just need to insert your dongle and start the software, it will be activated; If you bought a dongle from other place, you should ask your supplier if the dongle support to activate our new software firstly. Because some dongles don't have the original license that to activate our new software. Hope you understand. Thank you & regards

Hi, thanks for the reply. I would like to have the latest version v8.0. It says on the download page that v6. users can have access to it for free. I am a v6 user and I downloded the v8.0 but after installing it, it required an activation key. I read here in this forum that the SN is required to get the activation key which is the reason for my wanting to know it. How do i go about to get the activation key? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dear, if you bought a dongle with V6.2 in a cd, you needn't SN, just insert your dongle and start the software, it will be activated. Thank you & regards

hello sir,
as for sunraj comment, i wan't to say somethig.
i and he has a bluetooth dongle and instellation cd of bluesoliel driver of version 6.
in that cd we can not find a activation detail.
when i instell driver of version 6, it automated register or activated.
it not ask for activate.
And when i instell a version 8 its ask for register or activation, can you help us to solve this problem? please...

How do you go about upgrading from one minor version to another, say 8.0.376.0 -> 8.0.390.0? The installer acts as though you have the current version and can only Remove it...
