Just read the software upgrade policy - this sounds like a scam! You have to buy a serial number?????? to use their dongle. It is not a software upgrade if you have to buy a license - that's called a software purchase by any supplier!

Why is the upgrade presented as FREE when it is not and why was I not told this when the dongle was sold? I think BlueSoleil and the retailers are running a scam on the customers!!!!

it's OK if you don't want to upgrade to our latest version. Because we are always working on provide the most concise and easy-to-use bluetooth software to our all customers, so we want them can have a good experience with BlueSoleil;I applogies if it troubled you.

Only v6 users can free upgrade to v8, so if latest version is not required, you can still use the old version.

If you buy a product you expect it to work without having to buy additional software. The Support Team haven't replied so let's wait to see what they say. Alternatively BlueSoleil should provide ver 6 free - all I want is software to use my dongle - I don't want the latest version. Do you understand me?

i HAVE VER 6.X.X.X and upgrade is FREE. only new buyers need key.... all my upgrades have been without cost ..3 so far.
