First, my release 6 software pops up and offers a "free" upgrade to release 8, however, after release 8 is installed it displays "evaluation copy." How can I obtain the serial number of the dongle when there's nothing printed on the dongle? PLEASE, do not tell me "it's free to download," I don't want to hear that. I purchased the dongle that says Bluetooth v2.0 compatible and I expect to use the v2.0 functionality.

Second, I move the dongle between two different computers, if the serial number is associated with the PC (as opposed to the dongle itself), how can I use the same hardware on 2 different machines?

Hi, you know, BlueSoleil is a pay for software, you can download BlueSoleil 8 freely, but you need to purchase a serial number from our website to activate it. Otherwise, the amount of sent data is limited.

We also promised all of our BlueSoleil 6 users have FREE access to the BlueSoleil 8 and BlueSoleil 5 users have FREE access to the BlueSoleil 7. Our upgrade policy is as follows:

1. If you bought a serial number or a dongle from our website at the outset, now you can have free access to the corresponding version, you just need to do is simply download and install the software accordingly, activate it with your SN or dongle;

2. If you bought a dongle with a BlueSoleil software CD from other place, you should ask your retailer if the dongle including the license for activating new version first, if yes, new version will be activated after inserting your dongle into your PC.

In additiion, 1. Serial number is associated with PC and as opposed to dongles;

2. End users who purchased Serial Number of BlueSoleil 8 will automatically become BlueSoleil Club member, are eligible for free upgrade of BlueSoleil 8.x series PERMANENTLY. Regards!
