Hi guys!
I am unemployed and I graduated in June 2016 in computer science. I am currently applying for jobs but I have received a low gpa(2.3 cum, 2.0 major)(however I am a decent programmer and I was offered research position in studying automata by my professor) so I haven't been hearing back from very many of the places I apply. I have been spending most of my time on my computer making algorithms I find from the internet(wikipedia) to keep up my skills or until I had some bright idea. So I was just wondering if this is good way to spend most of my time? Also I wanted to know if the gap between school and job will destroy my chances? And any other advice is appreciated since I kinda feel like I in a small pickle.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
