Bought my new USB Bluetooth 4.0+EDR Class Dongle.  BlueSoleil software version 5.4.277.0

Installation was a nightmare as the software would hang at the point of installing Virtual Serial Ports.  After well over a days worth of work, I finally discovered on my own that running a repairing of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable installation on my PC allowed the installation to proceed from that point.  There is no support information which discusses this issue anywhere that I have found.

I received the free upgrade notices and have attempted to take advantage of the offer.

    1.  I have attempted to register an account online but after over 24 hours still have yet to receive an "activation email" in which I am lead to believe there will be an activation link and my serial number as well.  I cannot add my products to my account until my account is activated.

        a.  Yes, my email is entered correctly.

        b.  No, it is not being sent to my junk mail folder.

        c.  No, emails from BlueSoleil are not being blocked.

     2.  I have downloaded my upgrade to BlueSoleil version 9.2.474.2 and installed.  However, the install indicates that it is an evaluation copy with limited use.

There is no excuse for such a long string of complications.
