Bluetooth technology is transforming how we interact with technology and the world at large. Creators, developers, and designers are using Bluetooth to turn their dreams – and the dreams of consumers, as well as commercial and industrial enterprises – into a reality. We’re excited to announce that these innovators will come together 28-29 March 2017 at the Santa Clara Convention Center for Bluetooth World 2017 to turn the world blue.
New Features of Bluetooth World
We’re switching things up a bit for Bluetooth World 2017. This year’s event will be highly experiential and interactive, focused on providing inspiration, education, and validation to innovators, influencers, and decision makers from across the Internet of Things (IoT).
With the recent announcement of Bluetooth 5—coming late 2016 to early 2017—next year’s conference will be the first opportunity for the industry to come together and discuss the significantly increased range, speed, and broadcast messaging capacity of the newest Bluetooth specification. These advancements will deliver a more powerful, reliable full-home, building, and outdoor use cases, as well as faster and optimize responsiveness, leading to the rise of “connectionless” services like beacons and location-relevant information and navigation. Additionally, the independent development of mesh for Bluetooth will create an efficient, reliable, low-power, yet wide-area network to support these next-generation IoT devices.
In short, these Bluetooth advancements open up more possibilities for the IoT, and Bluetooth World 2017 gives those interested in being industry leaders an opportunity to come together to transform the way people experience the IoT by making it something that happens simply and seamlessly around them.
Real Life Experiences
At Bluetooth World 2017, participants will experience real-life Bluetooth implementation in smart home, health and fitness, and commercial and industrial applications, working together to develop best practices and evaluate innovative business models across the wireless and IoT ecosystem in order to build an accessible, interoperable Internet of Things. The two-day event will feature presentations and panel discussions, case studies of successful technology and market implementations, networking opportunities, developer trainings, a session for creators to present their ideas to venture capitalists on the show floor, and the opportunity to see the latest innovations that will solve the world’s challenges, large and small, and make our world a better, safer, and smarter place.
If you are an influencer in the IoT, you cannot afford to miss next year’s event.
