First American Financial
Corporation fell prey to a good simpler misconfiguration in what was less a
hack than outright negligence. an error within the company’s online customer
portal enabled anyone with the URL of a legitimate First American document to
switch variety within the existing URL to look at other sensitive documents. A
staggering 885 million customer financial records going back to 2003 were
accessible due to this design defect. And while there's no evidence anyone
actually found or stole the knowledge, First American now faces both government
investigations and a class-action lawsuit. Visit@:- Norton.com/setup | McAfee.com/Activate | mcafee.com/activate
