IVT cannot and has not fixed this because this isn't their problem. As long as BlueSoleil is installed FIRST, this problem never occurs.
For me, it was installing TeamViewer before BlueSoleil. I uninstalled and reinstalled TeamViewer, and now, all is well with the wireless icon in Windows 7.
These 'virtual wireless adapters' reside in Device Manager. Programs like VPN software, TeamViewer, VirtualBox, VMware, and Connctify and its equivalents install them.
Remove these from Device Manager, one at a time, until the correct wireless icon returns. (REMEMBER. These are VIRTUAL adapters, and say so in Device Manager.)
