Due to corruption or virus in QuickBooks files you may get runtime error known as code 6189 and to fix the issue by following these steps:

·        Close down all the running program and restart the computer and open the QuickBooks again.

·        You can try to uninstall the software and reinstall it using the database manager.

·        Try to install the software updates for QuickBooks.

·        If the issue is not yet fixed, then you can go to the corporation report and try to find another issue.

·        Also, try to save the QuickBooks on the desktop by renaming the transaction log.
