When using a virtual serial port to communicate with a device, is it possible to specify the number of the virtual serial port? Looking at the documentation, it looks as if the only possibility is to use a COM port number that is selected by the OS? In my application, I need to make sure that the device always communicates using the same COM port number. Is this possible using BlueSoleil? If not, do you have any suggestions regarding other possible solutions to this problem?
