Switch the computer off and after 30 minutes turn ON the system.

Now update the machine's firmware to the most current version.

The firmware upgrade process will require up to 15 minutes. Till then don't restart or switch off your computer.

Once you realize that the firmware has been upgraded, proceed using the Brother system again onto your system.
Note: The firmware can't be updated if you're printing with printer sharing and the Brother machine is related to a different computer. Brother printer support number. You have to upgrade the firmware merely using a Brother driver and make sure that it is not set to an internet services device interface (WSD), for system machines. The firmware upgrade tool provides an error stating that the machine cannot be found.
