OMG y'all, I messed up big time! My first tufting project - a gorgeous mandala rug - literally slid off the wall during a client preview So embarrassing! The basic gripper I used clearly wasn't up to the job, and now I need serious recommendations for heavy-duty carpet grippers. Don't want another disaster, especially with wedding commission pieces coming up. What's your go-to brand for keeping those hefty pieces secure? Share your wisdom, fellow tufters!

I once had a similar disaster when I was showcasing my first big tufted piece at a friend's party. I was so proud of this vibrant geometric rug, and right as I was explaining my process, it slipped right off the wall! Talk about a cringe moment! For your mandala rug, I recommend checking out some heavy-duty carpet grippers to avoid that nightmare again. I found that the ones from replacement cut pile scissor for KRD-I or ZQ-II work wonders for keeping those hefty pieces secure. It made a huge difference for me when I started using them—no more surprises during showings! Good luck with your wedding commissions; you’ve got this!
