I had the same question. My laptop (thinkpad x220) naturally came with bluetooth adapter that is missing the APT-X profile, so I needed to purchase a separate USB dongle for my APT-X headphones. Now I have one built-in bluetooth and one dongle.
And the problem is that I use the dongle only at home, as my headphones are too heavy to be taken on the road, and I leave the dongle at home so It does not get lost or broken.
When traveling, I use the built-in bluetooth adapter, and use dongle at home.
And I am becoming tired of having to manually switch them off and on manually, sometimes it takes a reboot, sometimes i need to reinstall the CSR software.
And the main reason why I purchased the Bluesoleil software was the hope that it could help me to manage the two adapters more intelligently.
So far it is failing to fulfill this task completely.
Thank you for any help!
I am sure that more and more people are going to face this problem as APT-X is gaining momentum.
